You OK with the fires? If they are near you and they tell you to evacuate, don’t mess around. Pack up what you can and get out of there! You should probably spend 30 min or so thinking about a priority list of what you would take with you. It also wouldn’t hurt for you to have an emergency kit in your car and your appt. Zip lock bag (or maybe a back pack with some matches, candle, small flashlight and batteries. Small radio, and bottle of water, too. Maybe a pair of underwear, t-shirt and toothbrush.
